YOUR VAULT

About your Vault

Your Vault is where money enters and leaves Fuzopay. Here is what each of the four options does and what it needs.

The Vault is the single place where money moves in and out of Fuzopay. Everything else in the app — Overview, Transactions, Cards — shows you what happened. The Vault is where you make it happen.

Open it from Vault in the left sidebar, or the Vault tab at the bottom of the screen on mobile.

Your balance

At the top of the page is a card headed TOTAL USD BALANCE, described as "Available across your Fuzopay balances." Below it, an AVAILABLE figure repeats the amount you can act on right now.

The eye button in the top-right corner masks the figure to ******* — useful in a café, on a call, or anywhere a screen is visible to someone else. It is display-only; nothing about your account changes.

The four options

The rest of the page is split into Deposit and Send, with two cards each. Every card carries a status badge that reflects your account, not a generic state — so what you see may differ from a screenshot.

Deposit

Crypto Deposit — No KYC required

Add USDC from an external wallet. Your deposit address is ready without identity verification.

Select Deposit crypto. This is available from the moment you first sign in. It is the fastest way to fund an account, and the only one that needs nothing from you beforehand.

See Deposit crypto into your Vault.

Bank Deposit — badge depends on your account

Add USD by bank transfer — automatically converted to your balance.

This card changes as you progress:

Badge What it means The button
KYC required Identity verification not yet approved Verify identity
Available Verified, no account requested yet Set up virtual account
Pending review Requested, being reviewed View status
Active Details issued and ready to share Your virtual account

See Open and use your virtual USD account.

Send

Send — badge depends on your account

Send crypto to an external wallet, or to another Fuzopay account.

Badge What it means The button
KYC required Identity verification not yet approved Verify your identity
Available Verified and able to send Send

See Withdraw crypto from your Vault.

Bank Send — badge depends on your account

Pay out to a bank account you have added.

Paying out to a bank is live. It used to read Coming soon here, and no longer does.

Badge What it means The button
KYC required Identity verification not yet approved Verify identity
Available Verified, no bank account added yet Add recipient
Available Verified with a bank account saved Send to bank
Pending review A bank account is being reviewed View status

What needs verification, and what does not

This is the single most useful thing to understand about the Vault.

Action Identity verification Two-factor authentication
Generate a deposit address Not required Not required
Receive a crypto deposit Not required Not required
View your balance and history Not required Not required
Withdraw crypto Required Required
Request a virtual USD account Required Not required

So a brand-new account can receive funds within a minute of signing in. The gate sits on the way out, not the way in.

Note. Two-factor authentication is a separate requirement from identity verification for withdrawals. Being verified is not enough on its own — you also need 2FA enabled. See Password and two-factor authentication.

Is the Vault a wallet?

Not in the sense of a self-custody wallet you hold keys for. Your Vault is a balance held with regulated partner institutions, kept separate from Fuzopay's own operating accounts, and moved only on your instruction. Fuzopay does not lend it out.

Practically, this means:

  • There is no seed phrase for you to write down or lose. Access is protected by your password and two-factor authentication instead — which is why those matter so much.
  • Recovery goes through us, not through a phrase. If you lose access, contact support and we verify your identity.
  • Your deposit address is real and on-chain. Funds sent to it arrive the same way any blockchain transfer does, with the same rules about networks and confirmations.

Warning. Never share a password, recovery code, or seed phrase with anyone, including someone who says they work for Fuzopay.

While the page loads

The Vault waits for three things before it draws anything: your balance, your verification status, and your virtual-account state. Until all three arrive you see placeholder shapes rather than partial content.

This is deliberate. Showing KYC required for half a second to someone who is already verified would be worse than a brief wait.
