YOUR VAULT
Open and use your virtual USD account
How to request USD account details of your own, what each field is for, and how to share them with clients and platforms.
A virtual USD account gives you real USD account details you can put on an invoice or paste into a platform's payout settings. Payments sent to them arrive in your Fuzopay balance.
No U.S. address required.
Before you begin
Identity verification must be approved. This is the only prerequisite. Your KYC status in Settings must read Verified or Verified — more information requested.
If it does not, the Bank Deposit card in your Vault shows KYC required and links you to verification instead. See Identity verification, step by step.
Request your account
Open Vault from the sidebar.
Under Deposit, find Bank Deposit. With verification approved it shows Available.
Select Set up virtual account.
The screen is headed Open your virtual USD account:
Receive USD payments with account details you can share with clients and platforms.
A note reads: "Before you request — your identity is verified. Account details are issued after a short review."
Select Request virtual account. The button reads Submitting request… while it works.
While it is being reviewed
Your Vault card changes to Pending review, and the screen reads:
Your account request is being reviewed. We're reviewing your virtual USD account request and will notify you when it is ready.
No action needed. Most requests are reviewed shortly. You can continue using the rest of your account.
The button shows Review in progress and is disabled. That is the correct state — there is nothing to submit, resend, or chase.
If you open the details page during this window you see Your USD account is not ready yet, with the reassurance that details will appear as soon as provisioning is complete.
Tip. Deposits, withdrawals, and everything else keep working normally while this review runs. It only gates the bank deposit path.
Your account details
Once issued, the Vault card shows Active with a Your virtual account link. The details page shows a card headed USD checking account with:
| Field | What it is |
|---|---|
| Account holder | The name payments must be made out to |
| Routing number | The nine-digit code identifying the receiving bank |
| Account number | Your account number, masked on screen for safety |
Below them, a line reads the bank name, then USD Account · United States.
Each field has a copy control. Select copy rather than retyping — a single transposed digit in a routing or account number sends a payment somewhere it cannot be recovered from.
The account number is deliberately masked in the interface. Copying gives you the full value; the mask only protects it from anyone glancing at your screen.
Sharing your details
You can give these to anyone paying you in USD:
- Clients, on an invoice.
- Freelance and marketplace platforms, in their payout settings.
- Payroll systems that pay in USD.
Three things to get right:
1. The account holder name must match the payer's records. Payments made out to a different name are commonly rejected by the receiving bank. If a client has you under a slightly different name, correct it on their side before they send.
2. Send USD. These are USD account details. A payment in another currency is not what this account is designed to receive.
3. Include a reference if the payer offers one. It makes reconciliation easier for you later in Transactions.
Note. Sharing your account details is safe in the same way sharing bank details for an invoice is safe — they let someone pay you, not withdraw from you. Your password and two-factor authentication protect outbound movement. Never share those.
What happens when a payment arrives
USD arriving at your virtual account is converted and added to your Fuzopay balance automatically. The Vault describes it as:
Add USD by bank transfer — automatically converted to your balance.
The payment appears in Transactions as a Bank deposit, and the detail view shows the fiat amount, the converted amount, total fees, and a reference. See Track your transactions and activity.
You receive a transaction notification when it lands, unless you have turned that category off.
Troubleshooting
The Bank Deposit card says "KYC required"
Verification is not approved yet. Select Verify identity on that card.
"We couldn't submit your request. Please try again."
A temporary problem submitting. Try again. If it repeats, contact support rather than submitting many times — duplicate requests slow the review.
"We couldn't load your USD account."
A temporary problem loading. Refresh the page. Your account and details are unaffected.
My request has been pending for a while
Provisioning involves a review by our partner bank. There is no action for you to take. If it has been longer than a few business days, write to support@fuzopay.com and we will chase it.
A payment was sent but has not appeared
Check with the sender first: the exact account holder name they used, the routing and account numbers, the amount, the date, and any reference or trace number their bank gave them. Then send all of that to support. Payments rejected by the receiving bank are usually returned to the sender.
Can I have more than one virtual USD account?
One per Fuzopay account.
Can I withdraw back to a bank account?
Yes. Bank Send on the Vault pays out to a bank account you have added, alongside crypto withdrawal.
