Notification preferences

The three kinds of notification Fuzopay sends, which you can turn off, and why security alerts are always on.

Open Notifications from the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar — More on mobile.

The page has two halves: your preferences at the top, and your recent notifications below.

The three categories

Every notification Fuzopay sends belongs to one of three categories.

Security

Account and sign-in events: a new sign-in, a password change, two-factor authentication being disabled, changes to your wallet or account access.

These cannot be turned off. The toggle is shown permanently on and locked.

That is a deliberate decision, not an oversight. A security alert only protects you if it arrives — and the first thing anyone with unauthorised access would do is silence the warnings. Locking the category on removes that as an option.

Transaction

Money movement: deposits arriving, withdrawals submitted and confirmed, and activity on your virtual USD account. For example, "USD payment delivered".

Compliance

Verification and onboarding: status changes, approvals, and requests for more information. For example, "Account review reminder".

Changing your preferences

Toggle Email notifications on or off in the preferences card at the top of the page.

Changes save automatically when you update a toggle. There is no Save button. A confirmation appears: Preferences updated.

The Security alerts toggle sits alongside it, permanently on and not selectable.

Note. Turning email off does not stop the notification — it still appears in your Notifications list in the app. It changes where it reaches you, not whether it happens.

Security emails are sent regardless of this setting.

Reading your notifications

The lower half of the page shows Recent notifications:

Your latest security, transaction, and account updates.

Each row carries:

Column What it shows
Title What happened, e.g. New sign-in detected
Detail Context, e.g. a location or an amount
Category Security, Transaction, or Compliance
Delivery How it reached you — In-app, Push, or Email
Status Unread or Read
Date When it happened

Unread items carry a dot so you can find them at a glance.

All notifications

For the full record, open All notifications:

Search and review your complete notification history.

You get a search field — Search notifications — plus filters for category, status, and date range, and pagination for longer histories.

Use this when you are reconstructing a sequence of events: filter to Security, widen the date range, and you have a clean timeline of every sign-in and account change.

Which notifications matter most

If you read nothing else, read these:

New sign-in detected. If you did not do it, act now: open Manage active sessions and signed-in devices, sign out other devices, and change your password.

Two-factor authentication disabled. If you did not do it, someone else had your password and a code. Treat it as urgent and contact support.

Password changed. Same rule. If it was not you, use Forgot password? immediately to take the account back.

Verification status changes. These tell you when you are approved, or when we need something before a review can close. See Verification statuses explained.

Making sure they reach you

  • Keep your email address current. It cannot be changed from Settings — contact support if it is out of date. See Update your profile details.
  • Mark Fuzopay mail as not spam the first time you find it in a spam folder. That teaches the filter for everything after.
  • Do not use an address you cannot access. A work address you lose with a job takes your security alerts with it.

Warning. A notification email will never ask for your password or recovery codes. If one appears to, it is not from us. Open Fuzopay yourself and check your Notifications page — genuine account events are always recorded there.

See Official Fuzopay links and resources for how to check a message is really from us.

Common questions

Can I turn off all notifications?

No. Security alerts are permanently on. You can turn email delivery off for the categories that allow it, but the notifications themselves still appear in the app.

Why did I get an email for something I turned off?

Check the category. If it was a sign-in, password change, or two-factor change, that is a security alert and it is sent regardless of your settings.

I am not receiving any emails

Check spam and promotions, confirm the email toggle is on, and confirm the address on your account is one you can still access.

Are there push notifications?

The Delivery column shows Push as a channel alongside In-app and Email. Which channels are active depends on how you access Fuzopay.

How long is my notification history kept?

All notifications holds your complete history. Use the date-range filter to reach older entries.
