Verification statuses explained

Every status your account can show, what it means, what you can do at that point, and what happens next.

Your verification status appears in two places: as a badge on the KYC status row of Settings, and as a banner across the top of the same page. This article explains every value it can take.

Note. An automatic check that fails is no longer the end of it. Where verification once meant contacting support, you can now submit documents for a manual review by our compliance team instead — the four rows above beginning "Identity check unsuccessful" are that path.

Verification needed

Verify your identity to withdraw. Deposits are available now. Complete verification when you're ready to withdraw.

The starting point for every new account. Nothing has gone wrong — you simply have not begun.

What works: signing in, generating a deposit address, receiving crypto, watching your balance, all account settings.

What is blocked: withdrawals and virtual USD accounts.

Next: select Verify now whenever you are ready. There is no deadline.

Finish accepting the terms

You started reviewing the required terms but haven't finished accepting them yet.

You opened the terms step during verification and closed it before accepting.

Next: select Continue. You return to the terms screen rather than starting over.

Finish verifying your identity

You started verification but haven't finished your identity check yet. It only takes a few minutes.

You accepted the terms and began the ID and selfie check, but did not complete it.

Next: select Continue. Your progress was saved.

Verification in progress

We're reviewing your details. This usually takes a few minutes — no action needed.

Everything is submitted and under review. Most reviews finish within 1–2 business days, though some take longer.

Next: nothing. This is the one status with no button, because there is genuinely nothing for you to do. It also cannot be dismissed — it stays visible so you always know where you stand.

The page updates by itself when the decision arrives. You do not need to refresh, resubmit, or write in to ask.

Verified

Approved. Withdrawals and virtual USD accounts are open.

This is the only status with no banner at all — there is nothing left to prompt you about.

Verified — more information requested

You're verified and can withdraw, but we need a little more information to fully complete your account.

This one causes the most confusion, so it is worth being precise: you are verified. Withdrawals work. Virtual USD accounts work. A separate follow-up question is open on an unrelated point.

It is deliberately shown differently from More information needed because the practical consequences are different — nothing is blocked here.

Next: select Continue and answer the request when convenient. See Responding to a request for information.

More information needed

We need a little more information to finish verifying your account.

A review is open and cannot conclude without something further from you. Unlike the status above, full verification is not yet granted, so withdrawals stay blocked.

Next: select Continue and complete the form. Every requested field must be filled in before it can be submitted — the form submits as one piece, not field by field.

Verification couldn't be completed

Something went wrong with your verification. You can try again.

The check did not succeed. Common causes are an unreadable or expired document, details that did not match the document, or an incomplete check.

What still works: your balance and crypto deposits remain available. Nothing is frozen.

Next: the dedicated screen offers Contact support, which emails support@fuzopay.com. We can review what happened and, if you are eligible, start a corrected application.

Do not simply resubmit the same documents — if something was unreadable or mismatched, the same submission produces the same outcome.

Identity check unsuccessful

The automatic identity check couldn't verify you. You can submit your documents for a manual review instead.

The automated check did not succeed — but this is not a refusal. Selecting Review options takes you to the manual route, where our compliance team looks at your documents directly.

Next: select Review options.

Document review — not yet submitted

You started a manual review but haven't submitted your documents yet.

You opened the manual review and stopped before sending anything. Nothing is being looked at until you finish.

Next: select Continue to finish your document submission.

Documents under review

Our compliance team is reviewing your documents. This usually takes 1–2 business days — no action needed.

A person is reviewing what you sent. Like Verification in progress, this status has no button, because there is nothing for you to do.

More information needed (document review)

Our compliance team has asked for more information to complete your review.

The same idea as an RFI, raised during a manual document review rather than the automated check.

Next: select Continue and supply what was asked for.

Where to find your status

Settings → Profile details & KYC → KYC status. The badge on the right carries the short label; the row itself carries the longer description.

A banner at the top of Settings repeats the same thing with an action button. Most banners can be dismissed; Verification in progress cannot, on purpose.

The Vault page reflects your status too. Send, Bank Send and Bank Deposit show either KYC required with a Verify identity link, or Available with the real action.

Notifications

Verification changes are compliance notifications. They appear on your Notifications page and, if the compliance category is enabled, arrive by email as well. See Notification preferences.
