MANAGE YOUR ACCOUNT

Update your profile details

What you can change yourself, what is locked after verification, and how to correct details you no longer control.

Your profile lives on the Settings page, in the card headed Profile details & KYC. Open it from the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar — or More on mobile.

What the card shows

Row Where it comes from
Full name Your first and last name, or your company's legal name on a business account
Email The address you sign in with
Phone Your registered phone number, if you have added one
KYC status Your verification state, with a badge

If a row shows —, that detail has not been provided yet.

Editing your details

An Edit profile button appears at the top-right of the card — but only while your onboarding has not been submitted.

Selecting it opens a dialog with:

Field Notes
First name / Last name Individual accounts
Company legal name Business accounts
Phone number Include your country code, e.g. +1 for the US
Email Shown but disabled — "Email can't be changed here."

Fill in what you want to change and save. You only need to complete the fields you are actually changing; leaving one blank leaves it as it was.

A confirmation appears at the top-right: Profile updated — Your details have been saved.

Messages you may see

  • Enter at least one detail to update. — you saved without changing anything.
  • Any other message is returned by the server; the text explains which field was rejected.

Why the Edit button disappears

Once identity verification begins, your identity details are locked and the Edit profile button no longer appears. In its place, the KYC status row carries a note:

Your verified details can't be edited here.

This is not a bug and it is not a limitation of the interface. Your name, date of birth and address were checked against a government-issued document during verification. Allowing them to be edited afterwards would break the link between the verified identity and the account.

In short: edit your details before you start verification. After approval, changes go through support.

Changing something you no longer control

Your name

Write to support@fuzopay.com with:

  • Your current name on the account and the name it should be
  • The reason — marriage, legal name change, a spelling error at sign-up
  • A document showing the new name

Corrections and legal changes are handled differently, so say which one it is.

Your email address

Email cannot be changed from Settings — the field is deliberately disabled. Contact support from the address currently on the account. We verify identity before making the change, because the registered address is what controls password resets and security alerts.

Your phone number

While the profile is still editable, change it yourself in Edit profile. After that, contact support.

Your address

Your address is part of your verified identity and is not shown or edited on the Settings page. Contact support with proof of the new address.

Your account type

Fixed after your first sign-in. Contact support — ideally before starting verification, as it is much simpler to correct beforehand. See Choosing your account type.

Details you will not find here

Some settings exist in Fuzopay's design but have no control on the current Settings page. If you have seen them mentioned elsewhere, this is why they are not there:

  • Display currency
  • Language
  • Passkeys
  • Withdrawal limits

They are not hidden or restricted — they are simply not wired to this page yet. This help center will cover them when they ship.

While the page loads

Settings waits for both your verification status and your profile before drawing anything. Until both arrive you see placeholder shapes. This avoids showing Verification needed and empty name rows to someone who is already verified.
