What is Fuzopay?

A plain-English tour of what Fuzopay does, who it is for, and what you can do on your first day.

Fuzopay is a dollar account for people who are paid across borders. You hold your balance in digital dollars, receive payments through your own virtual USD account details, and move funds out when you choose — without needing a U.S. address or a U.S. bank.

This article is the ten-minute version of everything else in this help center.

Who it is for

Fuzopay is built for people whose income arrives from somewhere other than where they live: freelancers, remote workers, contractors, and anyone paid by international clients or platforms.

The problems it is designed around are ordinary ones. Local currency losing value between payday and spending day. Payments taking days to arrive. Conversion costs you only discover after the fact.

Note. Fuzopay is not a bank and does not lend your money out. Balances sit with regulated partner institutions, separate from Fuzopay's own operating accounts, and move only on your instruction.

What you can do today

Once you sign up, your workspace has six main areas in the left sidebar. On a phone the first few sit along the bottom of the screen, with the rest under More.

Overview

Your starting screen. It shows your total USD balance, the state of your virtual USD account, your incoming money movement, and your most recent transactions. On mobile this tab is labelled Home.

Vault

Where money comes in and goes out. The Vault page is split into two halves:

Deposit

Option What it does What you need
Crypto Deposit Add USDC from an external wallet to your own deposit address Nothing — no identity verification required
Bank Deposit Add USD by bank transfer, converted to your balance automatically Identity verification, then a virtual USD account

Send

Option What it does What you need
Send Send crypto to an external wallet, or to another Fuzopay account Identity verification and two-factor authentication
Bank Send Pay out to a bank account you have added Identity verification

Cards

Virtual cards that spend directly from your Vault balance. This is planned for a future release and the page currently shows a Coming soon state.

Transactions

Your full history — deposits, sends, payouts, staking and referral activity — searchable and filterable, with a detail view for every entry.

Earn

Put an idle balance to work. Your principal returns automatically at maturity, and open positions are listed under Earn positions.

Refer & Earn

Your referral link and code, and what each referral pays.

Alongside those six, the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar holds Settings, Notifications, Help & support, and Log out.

How it works, start to finish

  1. Create your account and verify your email. Takes about a minute. See How to open a Fuzopay account.
  2. Deposit straight away if you want to. Crypto deposits need no identity verification — your deposit address is ready as soon as you sign in.
  3. Verify your identity when you are ready to move money out. A government-issued ID and a short check, usually about five minutes of your time. See Identity verification, step by step.
  4. Turn on two-factor authentication. Required before your first withdrawal, and the single most effective thing you can do to protect the account.
  5. Receive, hold, and withdraw. Share your virtual USD account details with clients and platforms, keep your balance in dollars, and withdraw when it suits you.

Tip. You do not have to do these in order on day one. Deposit first and verify later is a perfectly normal path — the product is deliberately built to allow it.

What verification unlocks

Identity verification is the one gate in the product. Before it, you can sign in, deposit crypto, and watch your balance. After it, three things open up:

  • Withdraw your balance — send funds out to an external wallet.
  • A virtual USD account — receive payments using account details of your own.
  • Fiat money features — convert and cash out through supported rails as they launch.

This is a regulatory requirement, not a Fuzopay preference. It is also a one-time step: once approved, you never repeat it.

What is not available yet

Being straight about this is more useful than a roadmap:

  • Cards — virtual cards that spend from your Vault balance.
  • Business accounts — you can select Business during sign-up to register interest, but the option is marked Coming soon and only individual accounts are open today.

Each of these has a placeholder collection in this help center that will fill in when the feature ships.
