How to open a Fuzopay account
Opening a Fuzopay account takes about a minute. Here is every step, and what to do if one of them goes wrong.
Creating your account is a two-step form followed by an email confirmation. It is free, there is no card required, and you do not need a U.S. address.
Before you begin
You need:
- An email address you can open right now. A verification link is sent to it immediately, and you cannot sign in until you have opened that link.
- A password you have not used elsewhere. Requirements are listed below.
You do not need an identity document yet. Identity verification is a separate step you can complete later, when you are ready to withdraw funds or open a virtual USD account.
Create your account
1. Open the sign-up page
Go to Fuzopay and select Create an account. The first screen asks How will you use Fuzopay?
2. Choose your account type
Two options are shown:
- Individual — get paid, save in dollars, and send money as yourself. Best for freelancers, remote workers, and people paid across borders. Verification is a government ID and a selfie, and usually takes minutes.
- Business — receive and send funds in your business's name. Marked Coming soon and not selectable yet.
Select Individual, then Continue.
Note. Your choice is remembered and applied to your account after your first sign-in. You can change it before you submit the form by selecting the Change link above the heading on the next screen.
3. Enter your email and password
On the Create your account screen, fill in:
- Email — the verification link goes here.
- Password — a live checklist shows you which requirements you have met.
- Confirm password — the field confirms ✓ Passwords match when the two agree.
Your password must have:
- 12 or more characters
- Uppercase and lowercase letters
- At least one number and symbol
All three are enforced when you submit, not only shown as advice.
4. Accept the terms
Tick I agree to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Both open in a new tab if you want to read them first. The account cannot be created without this.
A second, optional tick — Send me occasional product updates — controls marketing email only. It has no effect on security or transaction emails.
5. Select "Create my account"
The button reads Creating account… while it works, then takes you to the Verify your email screen.
Verify your email
Fuzopay sends a verification link to the address you entered. The screen shows that address back to you so you can check it for typos.
- Open the email and select the link. It is valid for 24 hours.
- You are returned to Fuzopay, which confirms Email verified — taking you to sign in and forwards you to the sign-in screen automatically.
- Sign in with the email and password you just created.
If the email has not arrived, see Verify your email address for the resend rules and the full troubleshooting list.
Set up your account
Once you are signed in, three things are worth doing in your first session.
Turn on two-factor authentication
Open the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar, select Settings, and switch Multi-factor authentication on. You will scan a QR code with an authenticator app and save a set of recovery codes.
This is required before your first withdrawal, so doing it now saves you an interruption later.
Look at your Vault
Select Vault in the sidebar. Crypto deposits are available immediately, with no identity verification — your deposit address is generated on demand.
Verify your identity when you are ready
Verification unlocks withdrawals and your virtual USD account. It takes about five minutes and you only do it once. There is no rush if you are only depositing for now.
Troubleshooting
The verification email has not arrived
Check spam and promotions folders first — filters catch these often. The Resend verification email button becomes available after a short cooldown, and you can request up to 5 emails per hour. If you mistyped your address, select Change email to start again with the correct one.
"Passwords do not match"
The Confirm password field does not match the Password field. Retype both rather than pasting; a trailing space is the usual culprit.
"Your password does not meet the requirements listed below"
One of the three rules is unmet. The checklist under the password field marks each rule as you type — the unticked one is the one to fix.
"Please accept the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy to continue"
The terms checkbox is not ticked. Selecting the linked text opens the documents; tick the box itself to continue.
An account already exists for this email
Use Forgot password to regain access rather than creating a second account. One email address maps to one account.
