Sign in to Fuzopay

How signing in works, what the two-step security check asks for, and what to do when you cannot get in.

Signing in takes your email and password, plus a six-digit code if you have two-factor authentication enabled.

  1. Go to Fuzopay and select Sign in.
  2. Enter your Email and Password.
  3. Optionally tick Keep me signed in for 7 days.
  4. Select Sign in.

If two-factor authentication is on, you are taken to a second screen. If it is not, you land straight on Overview.

Note. By default your session lasts 24 hours. Ticking Keep me signed in for 7 days extends that to a week before you are asked to sign in again. Leave it off on a shared or public computer.

The two-step security check

When two-factor authentication is enabled, the next screen is headed Verify it's you and asks for the six-digit code from your authenticator app.

  1. Open your authenticator app and find the Fuzopay entry.
  2. Enter the six digits. The code is checked as soon as the sixth digit is typed — you do not have to select Verify, though the button is there.
  3. Codes rotate roughly every 30 seconds. If yours is about to expire, wait for the next one rather than racing it.

If you cannot use your authenticator

Under the code field is a panel headed Can't use your authenticator? Select Use a recovery code, then enter one of the single-use codes you saved when you turned two-factor authentication on.

Each recovery code works once. Cross it off your list after using it, and generate a new set once you are back in. If you are down to your last one or two, treat that as urgent.

Warning. If you lose both your authenticator app and your recovery codes, nobody can restore access from the sign-in screen. Contact support@fuzopay.com — we will need to verify your identity before we can help, and that takes time.

If you cannot sign in

"Invalid email or password"

The combination was not recognised. Check for:

  • The wrong email. Try any other address you might have registered with.
  • Caps Lock, or an autofilled old password.
  • A trailing space from pasting. Retype rather than paste.

If none of that works, select Forgot password? from the sign-in screen.

"That code isn't right. Enter the current code from your authenticator app."

Three usual causes:

  • The code expired while you were typing. Wait for the next one.
  • Your phone's clock has drifted. Authenticator codes are time-based. Turn on automatic date and time on your phone, then try again.
  • You are reading the wrong entry. If your authenticator holds several accounts, confirm the one labelled Fuzopay with your email address.

Your email is not verified yet

You cannot sign in until you have opened the verification link. See Verify your email address.

Your account is pending

Some accounts show an Account pending screen after sign-in instead of the dashboard. This means a review is in progress. There is nothing to fix from your side — you will be notified when it completes.

Reset your password

  1. Select Forgot password? on the sign-in screen.
  2. Enter your account email and select Send reset link.
  3. The screen confirms Check your inbox. A reset link is on its way.
  4. Open the link and choose a new password. It must meet the same rules as at sign-up: 12 or more characters, uppercase and lowercase letters, and at least one number and symbol.

If it does not arrive, the button changes to Resend reset link after a short countdown. Check spam and promotions first.

Important. Fuzopay will never ask for your password or recovery codes by email, phone, or chat. A message asking for either is not from us.

After you sign in

Sign out

Open the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar — or More on mobile — and select Log out. Always do this on a device that is not yours.
