Verify your email address

Why the verification link matters, how long it lasts, and what to do when it does not arrive.

Your email address is how you sign in, how we send security alerts, and how you recover access if something goes wrong. Confirming it is the last step of creating an account.

What happens after you sign up

As soon as you select Create my account, Fuzopay sends a verification link to the address you entered and shows you the Verify your email screen. That screen displays the address back to you — check it now for typos, because everything else depends on it.

The screen tells you two things that matter:

  • The link is valid for 24 hours.
  • You can request up to 5 verification emails per hour.

Confirm your address

  1. Open your inbox and find the email from Fuzopay.
  2. Select the verification link. It opens Fuzopay in your browser.
  3. The page confirms Verifying your email…, then Email verified — taking you to sign in.
  4. You are forwarded to the sign-in screen automatically, where a green message reads Your email is verified. Sign in to continue.
  5. Sign in with the email and password you just created.

Note. Verifying does not sign you in. This is deliberate — the link only proves you own the address. Your password is still required, so a forwarded email cannot give anyone access.

If the email has not arrived

Work through these in order.

1. Check spam, junk, and promotions

Automated mail from a new sender is filtered aggressively. Search your whole mailbox for fuzopay rather than browsing folders — the message may have skipped the inbox entirely.

Once you find it, mark it as Not spam so future security alerts reach you.

2. Wait for the resend timer

The Resend verification email button is disabled briefly after each send. The screen counts down and tells you when you can try again, then reads You can resend now · Up to 5 requests per hour.

3. Resend it

Select Resend verification email. The most recent link is the one to use — older links from earlier sends may already have been superseded.

4. Check the address for a typo

If the address shown on the screen is wrong, no amount of resending will help. Select Change email to go back to the sign-up form and enter the correct address.

5. Try a different address

Some corporate and school mail systems strip links from external mail or quarantine it without notifying you. A personal address avoids this, and you can move to a work address later.

Common problems

The link lasted 24 hours and that window has passed. Go back to the Verify your email screen and select Resend verification email for a fresh one.

Your address is already verified — there is nothing more to do. Select Back to sign in and sign in normally. If your password is not accepted, use Forgot password? rather than creating a second account.

I have hit the hourly limit

The limit is 5 verification emails per hour, and it exists to stop your address being used to send mail you did not ask for. Wait for the hour to roll over, then try once more. Do not create a second account with a different address — one email address maps to one Fuzopay account, and a duplicate makes recovery harder later.

I no longer have access to that mailbox

Contact support@fuzopay.com from an address you do control. We will need to confirm your identity before making any change to a registered address.

After you verify

Once you sign in for the first time:

  • Your chosen account type is applied to your account.
  • You can deposit crypto immediately — no identity verification required.
  • Identity verification becomes available whenever you are ready to withdraw or open a virtual USD account.

Your email address stays important after sign-up. Security alerts — new sign-in, password changed, two-factor authentication disabled — are always sent to it and cannot be turned off. See Notification preferences.
